Meistriliiga eelmise hooaja parim mängija ja väravakütt Ingemar Teever (33) teatas täna ametlikult, et lõpetab profikarjääri ning keskendub rannajalgpallile.

"Kaalusin pikalt ja põhjalikult ning otsustasin suure jalgpalliga lõpparve teha. Hakkan mängima rannajalgpalli Peugeot' meeskonnas koos oma paljude lapsepõlvesõprade ja varasemate treeningkaaslastega, ootan seda suure põnevusega. Rannajalgpall on minu jaoks eelkõige meeldiv ajaviide heas seltskonnas, aga samas ei puudu sealt ka sportlikud eesmärgid - tahaksime tulla Eesti meistriks ning samuti loodan murda Eesti koondisesse," ütles Teever Levadia kodulehele.

Päriselt ust sulgeda Teever siiski ei soovi. "Kui hing ühel hetkel platsile tagasi ihkab, siis mine tea. Never say never," sõnas ta.

Teever on kolmekordne Eesti meister (2005 Tallinna TVMK-ga, 2013 ja 2014 Tallinna Levadiaga). Meistriliigas jäi tema arvele 273 mängu ja 153 väravat, Eesti koondises tegi ta 30 mängu ja lõi 4 väravat.
